The Miramar Palace was the venue chosen for one of the most eagerly awaited musical moments of last New Year’s Eve: Amaia Montero’s reunion with La Oreja de Van Gogh. The RTVE special La Casa de la Música, broadcast on La 1 to bid farewell to 2025 and celebrate the start of Televisión Española’s 70th anniversary, hosted the world exclusive premiere of the band’s new single, Todos estamos bailando la misma canción, recorded in front of La Concha Bay.
As highlighted by RTVE, the performance marked the band’s first public appearance since the announcement of Amaia Montero’s return as lead vocalist, almost 18 years after her departure. The production transformed the Miramar Palace and the surroundings of San Sebastián into a grand audiovisual stage, with night-time footage, drones and fireworks accompanying the song’s premiere.
The Miramar Palace thus once again demonstrates its versatility as a venue for unique events, where culture, music and audiovisual production find an unrivalled setting.
