On 8 and 9 June, the Miramar Palace hosted the ‘Machine Learning for Polymer Science’ course, an event that brought together leading researchers in the fields of artificial intelligence, polymer science and materials research in Donostia-San Sebastián.

Organised as part of the UPV/EHU Summer School, the event explored the impact that machine learning is having on the development of new materials, combining theoretical principles with practical applications in both academic and industrial settings.

The programme featured contributions from specialists from universities, research centres and international companies, fostering the exchange of knowledge and the creation of new connections between researchers and industry professionals.

With initiatives such as this, the Miramar Palace continues to establish itself as a leading venue for hosting international conferences, courses and scientific meetings.
